this is a very flexible position for individual or small group. Those with better command of Spanish will have more opportunities. Some of the things previous volunteers have done include - helping at library at story time, computer tutoring, sports camp, crafts for womens group, working to promote ecotourism. We also need grant writing, help with demonstration bottle wall, recycling center. This is also a good spot for anyone interested in agriculture.
Volunteers can do home stay or small hotel for modest fee - safe and comfortable.
Town is reached by easy bus service from the capital. Trips to Livingston or Ruinas Copan could probably be arranged.
Time commitment - one to four weeks.
Must have good moral character and be comfortable with diversity and eager to learn anothers culture. Area has reliable internet connection.
