Wood stove development technician with Stipend

You will be responsible for working with our Product development engineer in the development of existing and new products at our laboratory. The work will be based in Guatemala City however commuting from Antigua is possible. Office hours are 7:30 to 4:30 and a stipend of Q2500 will be offered. The majority of your work will involve testing and developing of prototypes using our equipment in the Lab. You will also be involved in the process of transferring prototype designs to our factory for production. We are looking for a commitment of 6 months however there is potential for this to be extended.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a successful stove program where your input will have positive impact on a large number of vulnerable people in Guatemala and central America.

The successful candidate will be of a technical background or with keen interest or experience in woodstoves and will preferably be a competent Spanish speaker.
