ASIVESCA - Association for Investigation and Fomentation of Development in Cabanas

This small but dynamic group of Guatemalans serve their community in Eastern Guatemala. They created and run a small library, run a recycling program, started a small computer lab, emphasize the natural beauty of local parks,and have hosted several international visitors. Visitors are encouraged to come for short or long term and share their talents. Options include home stay or an economical hotel. You will receive a warm and safe welcome here, away from the highly touristed areas of Western Guatemala.
